Practicalities and first meeting

Where I work

  • My practice is in Bristol. I have rooms in St. Andrews just off the Gloucester Road in Upper Belmont Road
    The rooms in St. Andrews are on a direct bus route into and out of Bristol along the Gloucester Road and the rooms are minutes from the bus stop.
    This is easily accessible from all of Bristol and from Filton, Patchway, Almondsbury, Thornbury and Wooton under Edge.

    I work at St. Andrews on a Tuesday late afternoon and evening and Wednesday afternoon and evening.

    There is on the road parking .

  • Cost

    There is no charge for the initial session.

    I charge £40 a session .

    I do offer some concessionary rates and we can discuss this at our initial meeting.


  • What happens at the first meeting.

    I will listen to you and find out what has brought you to counselling and together we will discuss what seems to be the best way forward for you. This may be either short term work, open ended work, or cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

    We will talk about this at the first meeting and decide which way of working feels appropriate for you.
